I need a vacation. I have heard it said that getting away is a necessity, running away is stupid. I think if you don't do the first, you end up wanting to do the second. Anyway, I would love to make a break for it. Maybe even just for a few days. If you could go on vacation anywhere, where would it be?

I always want to go to the beach! But if I could go anywhere, without kids, I would have to say NYC! I think it would be so neat to see the Statue of Liberty, and just walk around downtown NY. Of course with kids it wouldn't be all that fun.
I think you know the answer.
WOW, IM GONNA HAVE TO THINK ABOUT THAT ONE FRAN.
hey I am with Amanda I would go to the beach...
I have always wanted to go to Europe. Do a tour. Italy, vineyards, real Spanish food, Greece. I always wanted to stay in one of those white buildings that are always pictured next to the blue sea. Really though, there are plenty of places in the states I have found rest, just not lately. I went to Seattle once. I stayed in a small town outside of Seattle. It was amazingly beautiful and restful. I have also always wanted to go to Vermont and see if the moonlight is as beautiful as the song describes. I am a romantic nomad at heart. I pray that God releases me into travel one day. I pray my health is sustained until such a time. I pray that you receive a vacation in the supernatural until you can have one in the present. Just take those eyes God has given you to see the rest in the present. Use your writer's eye and feel it. Then describe it back to us.
I'm with you. I have been feeling the need for a vacation for quite some time and it just hasn't happened for one reason or another.
I'd be satisfied with just about anywhere. Quiet and restful would be awesome...but so would Japan or NYC.
I'm thinking a tour of New England. I've never really been northeast. Of course Australia is always on the list. It's just not practical for a get-a-way.
To Maine and Vermont to see the foliage change, Cape Cod to see the mist roll in off the ocean and then the rest of the eastern sea board.
ALASKA OR IRELAND. James is an Irish man and we have talked about perhaps one day after he retires from the military going for a visit. IM READY.
Um, I'd really like to go to Ft. Worth and spend some time in a 8x10hospital room.
A girl can dream can't she?
Just kidding. I'd really like to go to Ireland. It looks so beautiful there.
I know I just got back from 4 days in San Francisco, but I would love to go back with Ashlee.
Or to New England to spend sometime in the beautiful fall foliage.
I love the tree's turning colors!
