Spring break wasn't anything special. Avery's leg was hurt and Billy was working a lot. So I tried to find some fun things the girls could do. This was the day they made mud pies. Well, they started out making mud pies. They ended up playing a muddy version of slip and slide. But they had a great time. And it did take us a while to get them cleaned up. I have in the past not like things like this because they were dirty and would take time to clean up and so on and so forth. But I know that they will probably remember this forever. It was great fun to them and it was worth my time and effort. I don't ever want to be so uptight that I miss an opportunity to make great memories with my beautiful girls. And yes we did end up throwing all their clothes away.

After I saw the first picture I thought to myself,
"I can't believe she threw those clothes out." Then, of course, I scrolled down and saw the second and third pictures. I don't blame you. Even I would have thrown those out! Looks like my kind of fun!
I had a fight like this once with my brother.... I have never forgot it. It was and is a great memory.
This is the best kind of fun! The messy kind!
I love it!! I remember playing in the mud as a kid. You are a good Mom.
They look so cute all muddy!! That looks like so much fun!! Think we could do that at the BFW?!?! Remember -- what happens at the BFW STAYS at the BFW!! ;)
Great idea, Rachel...I'm with you. We'll have to put it on the packing list: Be sure and bring old clothes/shoes. Sweet.
